When a production machine breaks down, a quick solution matters. Our customer ordered an exchange unit for their Mitsubishi MDS-C1-SPHX-55 spindle drive from industrypart. The replacement unit was dispatched the very next day.

Replacement Dispatched, Faulty Unit Subsequently Repaired

Our exchange service meant that the customer did not have to wait for their own unit to be repaired. They first received the replacement for their machine. We then received the faulty spindle drive for repair.

Alarm 52 had been reported for the returned unit. In a spindle drive, this alarm indicates that the difference between the position command and position feedback has exceeded the configured limit.

We repaired the returned unit in our workshop, allowing the faulty original drive to be restored as well.
