Our repair process is preventive and includes a series of steps that contribute to ensuring high repair quality.

The repair process for drive modules includes the following steps

• Preventive overhaul - replacement of all necessary defective and worn parts.
• Intensive cleaning.
• Comprehensive final and load tests on our test stands.
• Parameter adjustment or restoration of parameters.
• Filling out the documentation and checklists.

For Yaskawa XtraDrive we replace

• Electrolytic capacitors
• Large buffer capacitors
• Relays
• Current measurement modules
• Optocouplers

Additionally, we replace certain parts that have proven to frequently fail over several repairs and are therefore statistically selected for replacement.

To counteract bottlenecks and discontinuations, we have process-oriented software solutions that monitor our inventory. We order some parts in advance, and for series repairs, we even secure sufficient spare parts for a year to ensure we always have a large stock available.

The test is carried out on a test stand that simulates the processes as in a real processing plant.

During the test, the following is checked:

• BUS control
• POT/NOT (positive and negative over travel)
• Encoder connection
• Alarm states
• Speed
• Current and voltage consumption
• Temperature
• Parameters
